what's the best european country to retire in?

retirement in ireland

I'm only 26 so unfortunately i have a little way to go but i can tell you i know hundreds of retired couples who live here(France)and they say it is the best place to retire because 1.it is a lot more cheaper than most other countries to live in (especially England). you have nice weather it is very quite and peace full 2 there is so much history so you can go to some very fascinating places and if you are from Ireland you wouldn't have to travel far to see your family 3.the prices for house in France is very cheap and most importantly the people are fantastic and if you cant speak french it doesn't matter because there are many french/English speaking people…..good luck with your search and may i add congratulations on your retirement!

I would suggest either the U.K. or Andora. Andora is a small country between France & Spain. Why don't you skip Europe all together and retire in Australia or New Zealand.
    (good luck)
