The Philippines would be the best. I had met a lot of foreigners staying in our country. They love the sun here!
Even Filipinos who used to stay in the US and other countries love to stay back here!
The foods are great and cost lower than Hongkong! Means of transportation is accessible in most areas.

Philippines is def the cheapest and easiest. Literally no overhead to daily life and expenses. You could live very well there on around $800 a month.

Not interested in moving in with you - sorry, Steven. But, I am considering retiring to The Philippines in the next few years when my contract in China runs out. I've been there a number of times, and the country and people are great. Costs are low outside of Manila. I have estimated that a very confortable existance (maid, car and driver, good villa, food, etc.) can be had for a monthly income of $ 2500 to $ 4000.
