I’m an American thinking about retiring in a South Asian country where the American dollar values well with the currency rate - Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia etc.. But I would still want to work because I want to not because I have to. Which country is easiest to get a job maybe teaching English, visas, and best for health care?
For easy teaching job and dollar value Bangladesh is good, but when you consider many other things I would recommend Malaysia. Good luck

Well most of my American friends who retire in the Philippines say that they fell in love with the country because of its friendly and caring people, beautiful scenery, and that there’s more bang for your bucks in the country because it can be super cheap should you choose to leave your western lifestyle.

well the recent great scientist Arthur C Clark has chosen Sri Lanka. English is in high demand in the country and u being American would be a big adantage. tuition is a big industry there for any school subject. Health care wise, its surely the best in south asia.
